Separator sheets to print
Splitting without separators finds 98.3 % of the cuts. With a sheet slipped between two documents, it finds them all: that is the only way to be certain, and it costs one print.

When to use it
An important file is going to a third party and you do not want to check a single cut.

What this tool does
- The sheet carries its title in large type: that is what the tool recognises, even on a poor scan.
- It is removed from the stack, shown struck through on the strip, and enters no document.
- It can be reprinted and reused at will: it carries no date, no file number, nothing that goes stale.
What it does not do: the tool does not yet read a barcode on the sheet: it recognises its printed text. A sheet photocopied too faintly may go unnoticed, and the cut is then found like the others, by the signals.

Frequently asked questions
- Does every document need a sheet?
- No. You can slip one in only where you know splitting will be hard: two documents from the same issuer following one another, for instance.
- Can I use my own dividers?
- Not yet: the tool recognises the title of the sheet provided. Recognising a house divider means teaching it one, and that is not done.
