List of documents as a PDF

When to use it
A file goes to a third party and must be accompanied by its inventory.
Or you want a record of what a folder contained on a given date.
What this tool does
- The numbered table, in the order of the sorted folder.
- The missing documents on the same sheet: a list that hides the gaps is not a list.
- SHA-256 digests, optional: they state that the file listed is that one.
- As PDF, and as CSV to reuse in a spreadsheet or in Klargrid.
What it does not do: a digest proves a file has not changed, not that the document is genuine. The list certifies nothing.
What is read in the document
- What the identification found, plus the size and page count of each file.
No file is uploaded: the folder is read by your browser, in this tab, and the page is not allowed to open a connection to any other site.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the list contain the content of the documents?
- No. Titles, dates, file names. A list circulates, often by email, often in copy: it must carry nothing from inside.
- Can it be edited afterwards?
- The CSV opens in a spreadsheet and can be reworked freely. The PDF is produced as it is; to adjust it, take the CSV.
